The 13th edition of the Cracow Swoszowice Run is scheduled for May 31, 2026! As always, the running village will be located within the grounds of the Kraków-Swoszowice Spa.

The Cracow Swoszowice Run is an event that brings generations together. It offers sports competitions for the whole family — all in one place. Participants can choose between a 10 km run, a 5 km run, a family mile, and children’s races for ages 1 to 11. It’s also a family picnic set in the beautifully located Spa Park in Swoszowice. This is an event you and your loved ones simply can’t miss!

Cracow Swoszowice Run – why is it worth being here?

The Cracow Swoszowice Run takes place in Cracow, in District X – Swoszowice. It is one of the largest sporting events in the southern part of Cracow, with over a thousand participants taking part every year.

In addition to a wide selection of running competitions, there are plenty of attractions waiting to delight every member of the family. The Cracow Swoszowice Run is a truly unique event where runners can share their passion with their loved ones — and perhaps inspire the younger generation to catch the running spirit.

10 km run in Cracow – the Main Race

The 10 km run during the Cracow Swoszowice Run is the main event. It takes place on the streets of District X in Cracow and the surrounding areas near Swoszowice. This route allows runners to explore the beautiful southern part of Cracow, previously unknown to tourists. It’s also a true test of fitness for every amateur runner.

Runs for the whole family

Runners’ loved ones can also find challenges of their own. The intergenerational family competition over a one-mile distance has been enjoying great popularity for several years. In this event, the fastest three-person family teams are awarded. Fun is guaranteed for grandparents, aunts and uncles, grandchildren, and every member of the running family.

Children’s Runs in Cracow – fun for the little ones

The Cracow Swoszowice Run is well-known for its children’s races. Everyone looks forward to these events, both the young participants and their cheering parents. The children’s runs in Cracow, organized by ITMBW, aim to nurture a passion for running in the youngest participants, but above all, to encourage children to embrace sports and a healthy lifestyle.

During the Swoszowice Run, races are held over 50, 100, 200, and 300 meters. Children compete on a course tailored to their age and athletic abilities. All of this takes place on the meadow located in the Spa Park.

Family Picnic in Cracow – the perfect idea for Children’s Day

The Cracow Swoszowice Run is held every year on the weekend preceding Children’s Day. We believe that the end of May is the perfect time for organizing a family picnic combined with a sporting event.

On this day, the Spa Park in Swoszowice transforms into an extraordinary land where every child — whether hidden in an adult’s body or a little one — will find something for themselves. On the meadow, you’ll find bouncy castles and other attractions. There will also be plenty of sweet treats.

Meanwhile, the “adult children” can enjoy exciting sports competition, exceptional cheering from the crowd, and sweets as part of the recovery meal. Isn’t that the ultimate fun for every runner?
